Today, 28 Jan 2010 - a history will be made as young and handsome Prince of Johor is following his father footprint.

Tunku Ismail Idris ibni Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, the eldest son of Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, will be crowned as the Crown Prince of Johor (Tengku Mahkota Johor) today around 3pm at Istana Bukit Serene in Johor.

Born on 30 June 1984, he was appointed by his late grandfather on 8 April 2006 as the Raja Muda of Johor, thus placing him second line to the throne.

The people of Johor are mourning as Sultan of Johor, Sultan Iskandar Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail has passed away this evening at the Puteri Specialist Hospital at 7.08pm. As the people of Johor, we knew very well that our Sultan wasn’t in a good condition, but this is really unexpected. 

He will be buried tomorrow at the Royal Mausoleum at 2.00pm, and the last respect ceremony is held at Istana Besar from 9.00am to 10.30am. Earlier, Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ibrahim Ismail (Tunku Yem) was appointed as regent of Johor following his father’s condition. The swearing-in of the regent was held soon after at the Istana Besar here.

In the ceremony, Johor Council of Royal Court Yang DiPertua Tunku Osman Tunku Temenggong Ahmad declared that Tunku Ibrahim will perform the duties of the Sultan of Johor as required under Section 9(1)(b) and 9(2) of the Johor State Constitution 1895. During his declaration of oath as acting ruler, Tunku Ibrahim said that he would rule fairly for all the rakyat (people). “I also swear to guard and respect Islam as well as the Malay tradition under the state constitution,” he said. 

History and sort of:
HRH Sultan Iskandar ibni al-marhum Sultan Ismail is the 24th Sultan of Johor and the 4th Sultan of modern Johor. He reign started since 1981 until 22 January 2010. He has reign for 29 years. Following his death, the throne is passed to his first son, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ibni al-marhum Sultan Iskandar al-Haj.

Unique and sort of:

Among the special traits of the Sultanate of Johor is, it has been ruled by 3 dynasties - the descendent of Malacca, the Bendahara and the Temenggung. Johor also was the only state in Malaysia to have its own army, Askar Timbalan Setia Negeri which serves as the private army to the Sultan of Johor. The protocol of the Johor Monarch is different where the protocols are mostly adapted from the Western Style rather than Malay Protocol. That’s why their official clothes are different.

Line to the Johor Throne: 

Sultanate of Johor used Salic Law, which means only a male heir of the royal family can inherited the throne. The Heir apparent will use the title Tengku Mahkota (Crown Prince). The heir must also a decendents from Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor.

::Bila darah aku menyirap!!::Proposal being accepted::IPhone::

Pagi ni aku bangun cam biasa 6.30am, siap2 sbb nak hantar housemate aku g keje. Motor dia rosak 2-3 hari ini. Pastu aku g keje cam biasa. Kt Putrajaya tidak jauh beza dgn KL, sama jammed. Sigh. Nak jadikan cerita, i really enjoy to start my day...until this shit was happened.

Still in Putrajaya, di satu selekoh betol2 di hadapan JPM, ada la satu kereta ni menyusur laju. Oleh sbb ada selekoh kt situ, aku just maintain slow. Masalahnya, dia bole pulak makan jalan aku, menghimpit hingga hampir mengheret aku. Macibai. Tak pasal-pasal, aku kena berhenti jap kasi dia lepas. Nasib baik gak la tak bergesel. Then, aku try la potong nk tgk gak mcm mana muka manusia yang dilahirkan bangang seperti pemandu tersebut. Tapi, dia terus memecut. Dari belakang, aku perasan si celaka ni mmg perasan aku duk follow.

Si celaka ni budget dpt lari la, tp malangnya stuck kt traffic light. Time tue plak peak hour, and kereta pun duk bersusun la. Hahaha...saat ni la yang aku tunggu2. Aku mmg duk follow, so no hal la utk berhenti sebelah kereta dia yang agak daif itu. Time tue darah aku mmg dah menyirap gila sampai naik ke kepala. Pas berhenti je sebelah, aku terus ketuk tingkap kereta si celaka dgn sekuat hati. Aku ingt dia cuak nk buka, rupanya dia buka nk berdiplomasi plak ngn aku. Aku bukan jenis yg berdiplomasi. Bagi aku tue semua buang masa. Terus straight to the point. Senang. Memang aku maki kaw-kaw punya, peduli apa, malu tak malu....yang penting aku xbersalah dan seseorang perlu diajar pagi ni.

Yang tak tahannya, bole dia tanya aku "kenapa nie bang?!" ...kepala bapak ko, bole tanya aku kenapa pulak. Ko bawa kereta macam mana??! Kalau aku kena langgar tadi?? Dan..dan...dia suruh aku relax, katanya dia pun pernah bawa motor gak dulu. Perghhh....cam babi lahanat ayat dia. Kalau dah tau diri tu pernah bawa motor, at least prihatin la skit dkt orang lain yang bawa motor. Takat kereta cabuk ko tuh, humban sungai pun orang tak heran. Dalam usaha dia membela diri tuh, last2 dia kata dia mmg xnampak, nak buat cam mana??...macam pukimak ayat ko kan. Aku tunjuk si celaka ni side mirror and tanya apa guna tue?? Kalau dah bodoh tue, sampai bila2 la ko bodoh ngn perangai ko yang mcm celaka, bawa kereta mcm sial ikut suka mak bapak ko punya jalan. Eiiiii...kalau ikut hati nak jer aku tumbuk mamat ni pagi tadi. Nasib baik aku still hold on daripada buat sesuatu diluar kawalan. Kang kalau aku tumbuk dia, tak pasal2 dia report polis, cakap aku cederakan dia. Last2 aku jugak yang kena. So, takpe. Hari ni aku lepaskan ko. Yang penting, ko dapat kalimah "bodoh" daripada aku. Bukan senang nk dpt...hahaha.

Keadaan tegang tu berakhir begitu sahaja apabila aku selambe blahhhh. Dia xde ckp nk minta maaf ke apa ke....ada aku kisah???!!..mmg aku xharap kata2 maaf daripada makhluk se'sial' ni. Bagi aku, muka mamat ni, selain tebal mcm kulit babi, muka dia layak bawah kaki aku je....so, no hal.

Sampai2 lab, aku kena cool down jap. Kepala aku sakit. Pepun, stress aku terubat apabila akhirnya head department aku menerima dengan baik proposal aku buat sekian kalinya. Hampir lima kali jugak aku duk repair sana repair sini proposal aku tuh. Head department aku cerewet skit. Nasib baik aku kuat semangat, so even dikritik, di reject, aku tetap cool utk proceed sambung master. Sbbnya mmg aku happy dgn bidang research ni. Huhuh...Stress??? Confirmla stress, dan tahun ni (2010), aku dapat menjangkakan tahun yang paling stress untuk aku. Harap2 la aku dapat melaluinya dgn matang.

Berita gembira turut menyusul petang td, sedikit sebanyak mengubati lara hati aku akibat insiden pagi tadi. Iphone aku dah sampai. RM320 je tuh. Walaupun murah, ianya bukan cikai tp kira setanding la dgn yang ori. Ada kawan kepada brader department aku ni, duk seludup brg2 camni. Peduli apa aku. Yang penting berfungsi dengan baik. Hahaha...
